Andy Jeffery Opens Organised Abuse In the UK Conference 2018 

Andy Jeffery (aka Matt Carey), author of A Small Boy Smiling, was the opening guest speaker at the Organised Abuse In the UK Conference 2018

Organised by Izzy’s Promise - an organisation part of the Ritual Abuse Network Scotland working to end ritual and organised abuse in the world.

The purpose of the conference was to share knowledge and ideas regarding how best to support survivors of child sexual abuse, specifically those abused by organised groups.

The conference attracted 130 professional therapists, counsellors, and several charities supporting survivors of abuse from the UK and USA.

Also present were academics, social workers, and Scottish Police.

Andy Jeffery was the opening speaker and the only guest speaker who identified as a survivor.
